John J. Hykel, Attorney at Law, is a former General Attorney with the U.S. Immigration & Naturalization Service. His practice is limited to the practice of U.S. Immigration & Citizenship Law. Mr. Hykel, a native born United States citizen, was born and raised in the suburban Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area. In May of 1972 he graduated from Widener University in Chester, Pennsylvania "cum laude" and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics. In August of 1975 Mr. Hykel graduated in the top 10 percent of his class from the Widener University School of Law in Brandywine, Pennsylvania and received a Juris Doctor Degree. Subsequent to his graduation from the Widener University School of Law Mr. Hykel commenced employment with the United States Immigration & Naturalization Service District Office in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Mr. Hykel was employed by the U.S. INS in Philadelphia as a general attorney, nationality from May of 1976 until May of 1980. In May of 1980 Mr. Hykel started his own law firm limiting his practice to immigration and citizenship law. Mr. Hykel has been employed in this capacity since that time.
