Effective August 28, as it becomes safe to resume Consular Operations, US Embassies will be giving K Visas (Fiancee Visas) high priority. The K Visa is typically valid for four months. However, Consular Officers may revalidate the K Visa in four month increments if the case is impacted by suspension of Visa Services of Travel Bans to the United States. It will not be necessary to file a new I-129F Petition.
